ADA Title III · places of public accommodation
There is no deadline. That is the problem.
School districts get a date to work toward. A restaurant, a clinic, a shop or a studio gets nothing — until a letter arrives. Thousands of website accessibility lawsuits are filed in federal court every year, the number has been climbing, and small businesses are the usual target because the same handful of problems show up on almost every small site.
Here is the part nobody leads with: the fixes are mostly small and boring. Contrast. Labels. Alt text. A menu that works without a mouse. Most of a small site can be sorted out in a couple of days.
What is usually wrong
Six things account for most of it, on most sites. None of them are exotic and none of them require rebuilding anything.
Photos with no description
Someone using a screen reader hears “image” — or the filename.
An afternoonText too pale to read
Anyone in sunlight, anyone over about forty, anyone with low vision.
A CSS changeA menu that needs a mouse
Keyboard-only users, which includes most screen reader users.
A dayForm fields with no labels
Everyone using assistive tech, and it is why your form gets abandoned.
An afternoonVideo with no captions
Deaf and hard-of-hearing customers — and everyone scrolling with sound off.
Per videoA PDF menu or price list
Often a scan, which reads as nothing. Also invisible to Google.

The honest look
$450
One-off
We go through your site on a keyboard and with a screen reader, and send you a plain list of what breaks, who it breaks for, and roughly what each fix takes. Yours to keep, whoever does the work.
- Up to 10 key pages, tested by hand
- Automated scan as a starting point, not the answer
- Prioritised by impact on a real person
- A call to walk you through it
Look and fix
$1,200–$2,800
Typical small site
The audit, then we make the changes. Contrast, labels, keyboard order, alt text, headings, focus states, forms. We fix the site itself — nothing bolted on top.
- Everything in the audit
- All findings fixed at the source
- Re-tested after the fixes
- Accessibility statement for your footer
- A short guide for whoever adds content

New Chimpipi sites
If we build your site, this is not an add-on. Keyboard operation, contrast, labels and headings are part of how it gets made.
- No line item, no upsell
- Tested before launch
- Stays that way through updates we make
Keep it that way
$75
per month, cancel anytime
Optional, and only worth it if your site actually changes. A crawl every month, a person re-testing your five most important pages every quarter, and an hour of fixes rolled in.
- Whole-site crawl monthly
- Hand re-test of key pages quarterly
- One hour of fixes a month
- Accessibility statement kept current
- No contract term, no cancellation fee
Bigger sites, e-commerce, booking flows and anything with a customer login are quoted after we look. Those have more surface and more places to get it wrong, and a flat price would be a guess.
If someone sold you a widget
You have probably been offered a script you paste into your site for a monthly fee, promising instant compliance. Those are accessibility overlays. Disabled users have said publicly and repeatedly that they do not work, businesses running them have still been sued, and the Federal Trade Commission has taken action against one vendor over what it claimed.
We do not sell them and we would tell you not to buy one. If you already have one, keep paying it or cancel it as you like — but do not let it stand in for fixing the site, because underneath the widget the site is unchanged.
What we will give you instead: a list of what is actually wrong, the fixes made in the site itself, and an honest statement of what was tested. No badge and no guarantee.
We do sell a monthly plan, and it is worth being clear about how it differs, because both things arrive as a bill. A widget adds a script to your page and changes nothing underneath. Our monitoring adds nothing to your page at all — it is a person re-checking the site every month and fixing what drifted. If we disappeared, your site would be exactly as accessible as it was the day before.
Send us one page
The page people land on before they call you. We will go through it on a keyboard and with a screen reader and tell you what we hit — free, and without a sales call attached.
