Terms of Service
Effective July 26, 2026
Agreement
These terms apply to your use of chimpipi.com and, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, to web design and development services provided by Chimpipi (“we,” “us”), a web studio based in Ventura, California. By using this site or engaging our services, you agree to them.
Services
We design, build, host, and maintain websites. The specific scope, timeline, and price for client work are agreed per project in writing (email counts). Estimates are good-faith projections, not guarantees of a specific business outcome such as search ranking or revenue.
Payment
Invoices are payable as stated on the invoice. We process payments through Stripe. Work may be paused on accounts with overdue balances. Recurring services (such as hosting and care plans) renew until either side cancels with written notice.
Your content, your site
You keep ownership of the content you provide (text, images, logos, brand). You’re responsible for having the rights to use it. When a project is paid in full, ownership of the finished site’s design and code transfers to you; we keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Third-party services
Sites we build may rely on third-party services such as hosting platforms, domain registrars, booking tools, or payment processors. Those services have their own terms and pricing, which are your responsibility once the project is handed over.
Warranties and liability
This website and our services are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for outages caused by third-party providers.
Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ventura County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version lives at this page with its effective date above. Changes don’t apply retroactively to work already agreed.
