Chimpipi LLC · Accessibility
Some people cannot use your website. You will never hear from them.
They hit a form field with no label, or a menu that will not open without a mouse, or a scanned PDF that a screen reader reads as nothing at all. Then they leave. There is no bounce report for that, no angry email, no support ticket — which is exactly why it stays broken for years.
We find those places and fix them. Same as the rest of our work: one small California company, plain prices, and a person who answers.
Two different laws. Two different conversations.
The work is the same craft either way. What changes is the deadline, who signs, and how much trouble you are in if you do nothing.
ADA Title II
School districts
A fixed compliance date, a purchasing office, and a pile of scanned PDFs nobody can read aloud. We start with the boundary map, because it is usually the busiest and the worst.
What districts need →ADA Title III
Local business
No deadline — just a demand letter that can arrive any Tuesday. Thousands of website lawsuits are filed every year, and the fixes that stop them are mostly small and boring.
What a business needs →And two doors that are not about the law at all
One is for people who already had the audit and want it to still be true next year. The other is for people who are not the client — they are the studio the client called first.
After the fix
Keeping it fixed
An audit is a photograph, and the site keeps moving after the shutter closes. Monthly crawls, a person re-testing every quarter, training for whoever posts the content, and the VPAT your procurement office will eventually ask for.
Monitoring, training, paperwork →For agencies
We do it under your name
Your client asked about ADA compliance and you have until Friday to sound like an expert. We audit and fix, you present it as yours, and we never turn up in their inbox.
White-label and referrals →How we work
Software finds some of it. A person finds the rest.
- 01
Look at it the way people actually use it
Keyboard only. Then a screen reader. Then at 200% zoom on a phone. Automated tools catch a slice of what is wrong — the best of them found about 40% of known barriers in a government study — so the rest is a person going through the pages.
- 02
Tell you what we found, plainly
A list you can act on, sorted by how much it hurts someone, not by how easy it is to fix. Each item says what breaks, who it breaks for, and what it takes to fix. No severity scores nobody can interpret.
- 03
Fix the source, not the symptom
We repair the markup, the contrast, the labels, the reading order, the document. We do not bolt on a widget that reads the page aloud and leaves the page broken underneath.
- 04
Leave you able to keep it
A short guide for whoever posts content, an accessibility statement with a real person's name on it, and a way for someone to tell you when they hit a wall.
Everything, with the price next to it
No “contact us for pricing”
You should be able to work out what this costs before you speak to anyone. Where a number genuinely depends on what we find, it says so and it says why.

Anything Chimpipi builds
Bigger sites, e-commerce, booking flows, anything behind a login, and districts with thousands of documents are quoted after we look. Those have more surface and more places to get it wrong, and a flat price would be a guess dressed up as a quote.
What we will never tell you
This corner of the industry sells fear and then sells a widget. We are not going to do either, and it is worth knowing that before you talk to anyone else.
- That we can make you compliant, or keep you compliant. Nobody can promise that honestly. The Federal Trade Commission took action against a vendor that did.
- That an overlay or accessibility widget fixes your site. It does not, disabled users have said so repeatedly, and sites running one still get sued.
- That an automated scan is an audit. It is a starting list.
- That a badge on your footer protects you. It does not.
Start with one page
Send us a link to the page that matters most — the one people go to before they call you. We will go through it on a keyboard and with a screen reader and tell you what we hit, in plain words, at no charge.
